Euro-area consumer morale unexpectedly bounces back in October
Consumer confidence indicator rises 1.2 points from September's record low, European Commission flash data shows

ANKARA (AA) - Euro area consumer confidence improved unexpectedly in October compared to a month ago, provisional data from the European Commission showed on Friday.
The flash consumer confidence indicator came in at minus 27.6 in October, up by 1.2 points from September’s record-low of minus 28.8.
The figure was higher than the market forecast of minus 30 for October.
Consumer confidence in the EU also increased 0.6 points month-on-month to minus 29.
