Europe stocks close Monday on high note

ANKARA (AA) - Major indices on European stock exchanges closed Monday on a high note after posting losses last week.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose 3.08 points, or 0.66%, to 471.88.

Germany's DAX 30 climbed 44.75 points, or 0.28%, to 15,853.

Italy's FTSE MIB went up 127.76 points, or 0.49%, at 26,046, while Spain's IBEX 35 gained 52.80 points, or 59%, to 8,968.

London's FTSE 100, climbed 21.12 points, or 0.30%, to 7,109, while the French CAC 40 rose 56.99, or 0.86%, to 6,683.
