European exchanges close mixed

ISTANBUL (AA) - European stock exchanges closed mixed on Tuesday.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose 0.9 point, or 0.18%, to finish essentially flat at 496.33.

The UK's FTSE 100 declined just 1.28 points, or 0.017%, to end the session at 7,683.

Spain's IBEX 35, meanwhile, decreased 24 points, or 0.24%, to end the day at 10,113.

Germany's DAX 30, on the other hand, rose 133 points, or 0.76%, to close at 17,556.

France's CAC 40 increased 18 points, or 0.23%, to 7,948 and Italy's FTSE MIB added 148 points, or 0.46%, to 32,706.
