European exchanges close Wednesday mixed

ISTANBUL (AA) - European stock exchanges closed mixed on Wednesday.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European markets in 17 countries, was down 0.84 points, or 0.18%, at 476.42.

The UK’s FTSE 100 fell 32 points, or 0.42%, to close at 7,651.

Germany’s DAX 30, on the other hand, was flat at 16,689. France’s CAC 40 was also unchanged at 7,426.

Italy’s FTSE MIB increased 42 points, or 0.14%, to end the day at 30,450.

Spain’s IBEX 35 rose 6.8 points, or 0.07%, to 10,067 at the closing bell.
