European stock exchanges close mixed

ISTANBUL (AA) - European stock exchanges closed mixed on Friday.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was slightly up 0.04 points, or 0.3%, to finish flat at 457.07.

The UK's FTSE 100 dove 72 points, or 0.95%, to 7,576 and Germany's DAX 30 shed only 0.79 point to 16,751.

France's CAC 40, on the other hand, rose 21 points, or 0.28%, to 7,596.

Italy's FTSE MIB increased 14 points, or 0.05%, to finish at 30,373.

Spain's IBEX 35, however, lost 76 points, or 0.75%, to end the session at 10,095.
