European stocks finish Tuesday mixed

Germany's DAX 30, Spain's IBEX 35 rise, while UK's FTSE 100, Italy's FTSE MIB post losses

ISTANBUL (AA) - European stock exchanges closed mixed on Tuesday.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, fell 0.38 points, or 0.08%, to finish flat at 457.34.

France's CAC 40, meanwhile, trimmed one point, or 0.01%, to close also flat at 7,344.

The UK's FTSE 100 declined 38 points, or 0.5%, to close at 7,634. Italy's FTSE MIB plummeted 152 points, or 0.56%, to 27,026.

Germany's DAX 30, on the other hand, rose 22 points, or 0.14%, to end the session at 15,603.

Spain's IBEX 35 increased 25 points, or 0.28%, to finish the day at 9,183.
