Explosion in northern Iraq damages nearby vehicles

ERBIL, Iraq (AA) - An explosion occurred in Iraq’s northern province of Erbil on late Wednesday.

Security forces were dispatched to the area on the Erbil-Pirmam highway, media outlets reported.

Vehicles received damage because of the blast while no casualties were reported by officials.

An investigation was launched to figure out the reason behind the explosion.
