Finland illuminates state building in Turkish flag's colors to celebrate Türkiye's centenary

LONDON (AA) - Finland's Ministry of Foreign Affairs illuminated its iconic Merikasarmi building with the vibrant colors of the Turkish flag on Sunday to mark the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye.

A photo of the illuminated display was shared on the ministry's official X account, where a message of congratulations was posted.

"Finland congratulates the Republic of Türkiye on its 100th anniversary. The Merikasarmi building of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs is lit up in honor of the occasion," it said.
