Fire breaks out on roof of Grand Bazaar in Istanbul
Incident occurs on roof of section where Coral Gate is located in Fatih district as cause of fire unknown

ISTANBUL (AA) – A fire broke out late Saturday on the roof of the world-famous Grand Bazaar in Turkish metropolis Istanbul, sources said.
The incident occurred on the roof of the section where the Coral Gate of the Grand Bazaar is located in the Fatih district of the northwestern province for an unknown reason, a source told Anadolu on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media.
A large number of firefighters were dispatched to the scene to put out the fire.
Efforts are underway to extinguish the fire.
