Germany's consumer sentiment improves but still at low level
Consumer climate index at minus 24.3 in Germany in April

ISTANBUL (AA) - Consumer sentiment in Germany continues its recovery in April which began in March, while economic expectations improve only slightly, a German research firm GFK released on Tuesday.
The consumer climate index was at minus 24.3 in April in the country, improving from minus 24.6, and GFK expected that it will increase by 3.7 points to minus 20.6 points in May.
Income expectations rise for the second month in a row in the country following moderate gains in the previous month, and the income indicator rises noticeably by 7.4 points in April.
The willingness to buy gained 3.3 points thanks to the significantly improved income expectations this month.
Economic expectations rise for the third time in a row, while the increase is modest at 0.3 points.
