Germany's industrial production up 2.8% in October

ANKARA (AA) - Germany's industrial production in October increased by 2.8% from the previous month, according to Federal Statistical Office data released on Tuesday.

Industrial production, however, was down 0.6%, compared to the same month of last year, Destatis said in a statement.

"In October 2021, production in industry excluding energy and construction was up by 3.2%," the statement said.

"Within industry, the production of capital goods showed an increase of 8.2%. The production of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers was up by 12.6%," it added.
