Germany's producer prices up 7.5% in March
Energy main reason for higher annual prices, Destatis says

ISTANBUL (AA) - The producer prices in Germany increased by 7.5% in March on a yearly basis, down from 15.8% in February, according to official data released on Thursday.
On a monthly basis, the producer prices dropped by 2.6% in March, posting sixth consecutive declines, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) said.
Energy is the main reason for higher annual prices, it said.
In March, energy prices were up by 6.8% on a yearly basis, while prices of non-durable consumer goods increased by 15.4%, and intermediate goods increased by 4.7%.
