Germany's wholesale prices down in July

ISTANBUL (AA) – Wholesale prices in Germany posted a 2.8% decline in July on a yearly basis thanks to the sharp price drop in mineral oil products, official data revealed on Monday.

According to the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), Germany's wholesale prices also dropped 0.2% on a monthly basis in July.

Mineral oil product prices fell 20.8% year-on-year in July.

Meanwhile, prices of live animals (27.7%) and fruit and vegetables (27.5%) were higher in July than the same month last year.
