Hamas returns another Israeli hostage remains under Gaza ceasefire deal

ISTANBUL (AA) – The Palestinian group Hamas handed over the remains of another Israeli hostage to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Friday night under a Gaza ceasefire agreement, the Israeli army said.

A military statement said a coffin of a deceased captive was transferred to the ICRC and was on the way to Israeli troops inside Gaza.

Hamas earlier said that the body would be returned at 9 pm local time (1900GMT) after it was found under the rubble in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis.
