Heat wave in France triggers orange alert in 41 departments

The French Meteorological Service, Meteo France, on Monday issued orange alert for 41 departments in the southern and central regions over ongoing heat wave.

Meteo France issued orange alert for 41 departments, located in central and southern France, fearing increase in the number to 45 with Indre, Nievre, Saone-et-Loire, and Jura regions.

Temperatures are expected to range between 35C (95F) and 38C (100F) at the beginning of the week and are predicted to persist until July 31.
