Hezbollah says it targeted Israeli soldiers in northern Israel
Lebanese official news agency reports 3 Israeli airstrikes on Bekaa region in eastern Lebanon

BEIRUT (AA) - The Lebanese group Hezbollah on Monday said it targeted Israeli soldiers in northern Israel.
In a statement, the group said its fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers "between the Al-Manara and Margaliot settlements, with appropriate weapons."
In another statement, Hezbollah announced targeting Israeli soldiers "in the vicinity of the Al-Samaqa site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shuba hills with artillery shells."
The Israeli army is yet to comment on Hezbollah's announcements.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese official news agency reported at least three Israeli airstrikes on the towns of Jard Massa and Janta in the Bekaa region in eastern Lebanon.
Tensions have soared along Lebanon's border with Israel amid cross-border attacks between Hezbollah and Israeli forces as Tel Aviv presses ahead with its deadly offensive on the Gaza Strip, which has killed more than 37,600 people since last Oct. 7.
Hezbollah has linked the cessation of its attacks on Israel to the end of the ongoing onslaught on Gaza.
