India holds joint military drills with Kyrgyzstan
Drills aimed to enhance military cooperation and interoperability, says Indian Army

NEW DELHI (AA) - India and Kyrgyzstan began a joint military exercise on Monday, according to officials.
The Indian Army said on X that the opening ceremony of the exercise, named Khanjar-XII, between special forces of India and Kyrgyzstan was held at Tokmok in the central Asian nation.
The exercises will continue until March 23.
According to the army, the exercise is designed to enhance “interoperability” between the special forces of both countries, focusing on joint operations in “urban warfare scenarios, counter-terrorism tactics and precision sniping, all conducted under the framework of a United Nations mandate.”
