Individual wanted on Interpol red notice nabbed in Türkiye

ANTALYA, Türkiye (AA) — Police in southern Türkiye apprehended a Russian national on Friday wanted by the Interpol with a red notice, according to local authorities.

In an operation, anti-smuggling and organized crime police in Antalya province caught the wanted individual, identified only by the initials I.M., sought with an Interpol red notice for robbery, was apprehended, said the provincial governor's office.

Police searched the suspect after the operation, uncovering a counterfeit driver's license issued in Russia.
