Israeli army destroys headquarters of Bureij, Al-Zawaida municipalities in central Gaza
Israeli ‘occupation forces continue to work to make the Strip uninhabitable,’ say Gaza authorities

GAZA CITY, Palestine (AA) - The Israeli army bombed the headquarters of the Bureij and Al-Zawaida municipalities, the Central Governorate in the Gaza Strip said on Saturday.
“The occupation (forces) deliberately bombs the administrative headquarters of the municipalities and other municipal services, such as water wells, emergency stores, and water and sewage lines,” the municipalities said in a statement.
The municipalities stated that "the Israeli occupation forces continue to work to make the Strip uninhabitable."
Israel has waged a deadly military offensive on Gaza since an Oct. 7 cross-border attack led by Hamas in which nearly 1,200 Israelis were killed.
More than 32,700 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have since been killed in Gaza, in addition to mass destruction, displacement and famine conditions.
Israel is accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). An interim ruling in January ordered Tel Aviv to stop genocidal acts and take measures to guarantee that humanitarian assistance is provided to civilians in Gaza.
