Israeli army kills another Palestinian near West Bank city of Jenin

JENIN, Palestine (AA) - Another Palestinian was shot dead by Israeli forces in the West Bank on Monday, taking the toll to 374 since Oct. 7, the Health Ministry said.

A 21-year-old man was killed by Israeli fire in the town of Yamoun near Jenin city, Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.

According to eyewitnesses, Israeli forces raided the town and stormed several houses, sparking clashes.

Israeli forces raided early Monday several cities, towns, and camps in the occupied West Bank, including Jenin and its refugee camp, according to an Anadolu correspondent.

Tensions have been running high across the West Bank since Israel launched a deadly military offensive against the Gaza Strip following a cross-border attack by Hamas in which Israel says 1,200 people were killed.

At least 26,422 Palestinians have since been killed, mostly women and children, and over 65,000 others injured, according to Palestinian health authorities.
