Israeli army raids West Bank cities, arrests more Palestinians
Woman also arrested during raid in city of Tulkarm, according to witnesses

RAMALLAH, Palestine (AA) - Israeli forces raided cities and towns in the occupied West Bank early Monday, arresting several Palestinians, according to witnesses and local sources.
The army stormed the cities of Jenin and Tulkarm, as well as towns in Ramallah, Hebron, Salfit and Qalqilya, arresting citizens, witnesses told Anadolu.
A woman was arrested during a raid in the city of Tulkarm, the witnesses reported.
The army stormed a house in the Khirbet neighborhood in Henin and arrested a Palestinian, according to local sources.
Tensions have been high across the occupied territory since Israel launched a deadly military offensive against the Gaza Strip following a cross-border attack by Hamas on Oct. 7.
More than 455 Palestinians have since been killed, around 4,750 others injured and over 7,895 arrested by the Israeli army in the occupied territory, according to the Health Ministry.
Israel stands accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which on Thursday asked Israel to do more to prevent famine in the Gaza Strip, where nearly 32,800 people have been killed in Israeli attacks since last October.
