Israeli army storms Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza

GAZA CITY, Palestine (AA) - The Israeli army stormed Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City early Wednesday.

The head of the burns department at Al-Shifa Medical Complex, Dr. Ahmed Makhllati, in a press statement reported by Al Jazeera said Israeli tanks and bulldozers are now inside the complex.

Earlier Wednesday, the Israeli army said it had launched a military operation in “a certain part” of Al-Shifa Medical Complex.

Its announcement comes after the Ministry of Health in Gaza said the army officially informed the administration of the medical complex that it would storm it tonight.
