Israeli drone airs anti-Nasrallah messages in southern Lebanon: Reports
Drone broadcast inflammatory messages targeting Hezbollah leader

BEIRUT (AA) - An Israeli drone aired incendiary audio messages Thursday against Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah as it flew above towns in the Nabatieh district in southern Lebanon, according to media reports.
“The towns of Doueir, Toul, Kfour, and Zebdine have been witnessing the flight of a hostile drone since 7:45 p.m. local time (16:45 GMT),” according to the Lebanese National News Agency.
The media outlet, citing sources, added that the drone was “airing inflammatory messages targeting Nasrallah via loudspeakers, accusing him of bringing widespread destruction to citizens.”
The message comes amid a new wave of escalations between Israel and Hezbollah following a series of large-scale explosions this week that affected thousands of communication devices in Lebanon, particularly those used by Hezbollah members.
The explosions killed 37 victims and injured thousands, with Beirut and Hezbollah blaming Tel Aviv for the attack.
Simultaneously, the Israeli army launched two extensive waves of airstrikes on towns in southern Lebanon, marking the most intense strikes in weeks.
Hezbollah, in turn, launched 16 attacks on military targets and settlements in northern Israel by 18:30 GMT, marking one of its largest attacks in terms of scope.
Nasrallah revealed in a televised speech earlier Thursday that his group had received messages through official and unofficial channels on Tuesday, indicating that the purpose of the explosions was to stop the Lebanese front from supporting the Gaza Strip.
The Hezbollah chief emphasized that “the Lebanese front will not stop until the war on Gaza stops.”
There has been no Israeli comment on the communication device blasts, which came amid an escalation in cross-border warfare between Israel and Hezbollah since the start of Israel’s deadly war on Gaza, which has killed nearly 41,300 victims, mostly women and children, following a cross-border attack by Hamas last Oct. 7.
