Istanbul to host Global Marketing Summit 2023

Event to bring together important names from marketing, business world

ISTANBUL (AA) - The metropolis city of Istanbul will host the Global Marketing Summit of 2023 on October 18-19, with significant marketing gurus, influential global business people and inspiring famous names in attendance.

Inspark, Turkcell and Unilever will be the main sponsors of the event, which will be held for the third time this year at Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus Istanbul.

Türkiye’s national flag carrier, Turkish Airlines (THY), and the BSH will be the official sponsors of the summit, hosting more than 200 speakers in 90 sessions.

Last year, 55,000 participants from 143 countries watched the Global Marketing Summit, the global event with the most speakers and at the “C Level” level in the marketing sector in Türkiye.

The summit’s theme will be “Sustainable Business, Sustainable World.”

A face-to-face Leaders Circle Special Meeting will also be held on Oct. 18 with the participation of senior managers (CEO) and marketing leaders.

On the other days of the event, unique online content will be shared for participants who have “registered” for physical sessions.

These particular contents will have great archival value for the participants with the possibility of lifelong access.

The Global Marketing Summit 2023 will also be a tribute to the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic. The marketing guru Philip Kotler, considered the most influential name in the marketing sector worldwide, will take part as an honorary speaker for the third time.


-‘4P of marketing’

KREA M.I.C.E. Founder and CEO, KREA Digital Co-Founder Seda Mizrakli Ferik, whose views were included in the statement, noted that the 2023 summit will be supported with technology and will be a unique event.

“At the Global Marketing Summit 2023, we are implementing the ‘4P of Marketing’ concept that Philip Kotler has been highlighting for many years this year as great content, venue, hospitality and price,” she stressed.

Pointing out that they are a brand that has determined trends in the meeting industry in the world for more than 20 years, Ferik emphasized that KREA Digital has been working for months with a large team to ensure that they invent and realize authentic concepts every year.

She noted that the female speakers at the 2023 summit have achieved their goals of halving the ratio of male speakers and that they also have goals of being an exemplary event on gender equality.

“We are moving towards becoming one of the most diverse, inclusive and equal summits in the world both in terms of speaker and participant profile,” she praised.
