Japan Meteorological Agency warns of recurring earthquakes in country
3 earthquakes hit central Japan since Sunday, no major damage reported yet

ISTANBUL (AA) - Japan Meteorological Agency has issued a warning to the citizens about recurring earthquakes as the country was jolted thrice since Sunday.
The details shared by the Met authorities said an earthquake of 5.0 magnitude struck Ishikawa province in central Japan early on Monday, Kyodo News reported.
Locals called the tremors "worse." Another tremor hit the region as Met authorities recorded the magnitude on the Richter scale at 4.2.
It followed a 5.4 magnitude earthquake that struck the region, leaving at least six people injured, on Sunday.
"The next week may see more of a similar intensity," the weather agency warned. "People in the affected area should be cautious of more earthquakes with an intensity of around lower six magnitudes within a week."
No reports of any major damage or injuries were received.
The weather authorities also did not issue any warning for tsunami while bullet train services plied normally.
