Journalism students at Uzbek university set up Anadolu stand to celebrate school's anniversary

TASHKENT, Uzbekistan (AA) - Students at the Journalism and Mass Communications University of Uzbekistan set up an Anadolu stand Friday to celebrate the sixth anniversary of the school operating in the nation’s capital of Tashkent.
Chiefs of diplomatic missions, including Türkiye's Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Olgan Bekar, attended the event.
During the media festival organized as part of the celebrations, stands were set up where the world's leading media organizations were introduced.
Stands promoting Anadolu and TRT were set up by students.
The Anadolu stand featured a large photo of the headquarters building and pictures of the agency's correspondents' activities in hot spots, as well as microphones with the Anadolu logo that was prepared by students.
Guests visited the stands of media organizations and received information.
Bekar visited the Anadolu and TRT stands and met students and lecturers, after which a group photo was taken.
Founded in 2018, Journalism and Mass Communications University of Uzbekistan has nearly 4,000 students. The university, which has four faculties and 17 departments, also offers Turkish education.
