July 15 photo exhibition opens in Lebanon

TRIPOLI, Lebanon (AA) - An exhibition of Anadolu Agency photos and footage taken during Turkey’s July 15 coup attempt went on display in Lebanon on Friday.

Organized by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) and the Yunus Emre Institute's Beirut branch, the exhibition in Tripoli depicts the events of the night of the attempted coup and the aftermath.

“The coup attempt resulted in the victory of Turkish people and democracy,” Bekir Utku Atahan, counsellor at the Turkish embassy in Beirut, said.
