Multiple sources report Tim Walz as Harris' vice president candidate for 2024 presidential race

HAMILTON, Canada (AA) - US Vice President Kamala Harris reportedly nominated on Tuesday Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate for the 2024 presidential race, according to media sources.
Reports of Walz’s nomination comes after Harris won enough Democratic convention delegates to secure the party's presidential nomination last week.
Governor Walz is a former teacher and member of the US Army National Guard.
