ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish construction company Karmod has completed its village housing project in Adiyaman, built using a steel frame construction system, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

Karmod Sales Manager Ozay Kemal Karakucuk emphasized the company's continued support for earthquake-affected areas through the production and installation of permanent prefabricated steel housing.

"We produce horizontally designed houses suitable for earthquake-prone regions. Our lightweight steel frame prefabricated houses offer a safe model that reduces earthquake risk," Karakucuk said.

He highlighted the rapid production and installation advantage of the steel houses.

The houses also provide energy efficiency with special insulation applications tailored to different climate zones, he added.

The Adiyaman project featured single and twin units, including 64-square-meter standalone houses and 136-square-meter twin units.

Karakucuk said the project included 60 prefabricated steel houses, with 10 standalone units and 25 twin units accommodating a total of 50 residences.

“The entire installation process was completed within 45 days”, he added.
