ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish modular building manufacturer Karmod said on Wednesday that it completed a staff housing project for a hotel in the country’s Aegean resort city of Bodrum, addressing a critical need in the tourism sector.

The prefabricated accommodation, designed to house 40 employees, was assembled and delivered within three days.

“In regions where rental prices are exceptionally high, the housing needs of industry employees are one of the biggest challenges for facility owners,” Karmod Sales Manager Ozay Kemal Karakucuk was quoted as saying in a statement.

“With our modular and prefabricated structures, we offer permanent and secure solutions to this issue,” he added.

Karakucuk highlighted the efficiency of the pre-assembled structures, noting that the units can be installed quickly and quietly without disrupting nearby operations.

“Even while services continue uninterrupted at nearby tourism facilities, the housing installation can be completed silently in a very short time. Once positioned on the designated site, the units are immediately ready for occupancy,” he explained.

The lodgings are manufactured in Karmod's advanced production facilities. Each unit is equipped with premium electrical systems and fixtures, and the use of fire-resistant sandwich panels in the walls and roofs enhances both safety and comfort.

“Our modular buildings offer hotel staff a secure and ergonomic living environment,” Karakucuk said.

The project in Bodrum comprises five two-story blocks, with each floor featuring two separate rooms along with toilet and shower facilities.

In total, the complex includes 20 rooms, providing a practical and modern housing solution for the hotel’s employees.
