ISTANBUL (AA) - Debris chutes developed by Turkish building manufacturer, Karmod, significantly reduce accidents in construction environments, the company said in a statement Tuesday.
Called "Molozsut" in the Turkish language, the chutes, which are designed for high-rise construction projects, eliminate the risks associated with the transfer of debris and similar waste.
"The Molozsut, also referred to as debris chutes, is applicable to both low-rise and towering skyscraper projects. Its conical design allows for seamless assembly,” Talay Ozturk, general manager of Karmod Plastic Group, was quoted in the statement. “Each floor is equipped with an access point for debris disposal. The interconnected chutes ensure safe transportation of debris from the top floor to the ground."
Ozturk highlighted the product's user-friendly installation and sleek design.
"Molozsut features modular components that can be easily assembled and disassembled. The chutes can be quickly set up from the top floor to the ground in a tower configuration. Each floor has access points for waste disposal. The installation can be adjusted to fit various floor heights,” he said.
Constructed from high-strength polyethylene, Ozturk said the chutes are durable and reusable across multiple projects.
