Latest TRT Digital Debates session to focus on Syria

ANKARA (AA) – TRT World Forum’s Digital Debates series will continue on Wednesday with a session on the situation in Syria.

The discussion features Ammar Kahf, executive director of the Omran Center for Strategic Studies and a member of the Syrian Forum; Resul Serdar Atas, senior correspondent for news channel Al Jazeera English; and Salman Shaikh, founder and head of the Shaikh Group, an independent organization with expertise in diplomacy and mediation.

The session – titled A Long Time Coming: The Eruption of Public Grievances in Syria – will be hosted by Talip Kucukcan, a former member of Turkey’s parliament and currently professor of sociology at Marmara University and a senior fellow at the TRT World Research Center.

It will air at 8 p.m. local time (1700GMT) and will be broadcast live on YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook.
