Libyan journalists commend visual journalism training program at Anadolu
Program, held at Anadolu, offered Libyan journalists hands-on training from experienced professionals in the field

Libyan journalists who participated in the "Visual Journalism Interaction Program" in Ankara on Wednesday expressed their satisfaction with the training they received. The program was organized by the Turkish Presidency's Directorate of Communications and Anadolu Agency in coordination with the Communication Center of Libya's Government of National Unity.
Held at Anadolu's headquarters in the capital Ankara, the program offered hands-on training from experienced professionals in the field.
Mohamed Juma Ali Abu Helga, general director of the Communication Center of Libya's Government of National Unity, praised the program's success. He noted that feedback from the participating journalists indicated that the sessions were highly productive.
"This was our first training program of this kind, and we are grateful to the Directorate of Communications of the Turkish Presidency, Anadolu Agency, and AA Academy for their efforts," Abu Helga said. He also mentioned plans for future collaboration and training initiatives in various fields, highlighting the positive feedback from the participants.
Labid Ali Abdulsalam Elgrad, International Cooperation Coordinator at the Libyan Communication Center, observed that the training was highly beneficial for the Libyan journalists. He emphasized the long-standing and deep-rooted relationship between Türkiye and Libya and expressed hope for more such programs in the future.
Haneebal Masoud Touwawah, one of the participating Libyan journalists, shared his satisfaction with the training, stating, "I will share everything I have learned with my colleagues when I return to my country." He also noted his intention to apply the knowledge gained to both his personal and professional life.
During the program, Anadolu Photojournalist Harun Ozalp and Chief Cameraman Alper Sitki Ersoy provided training on "Official Photography" and "Official Video." After completing the training, the Libyan journalists received certificates and participated in a cultural tour.
The program, which began on August 26, concluded with a certification ceremony following three days of intensive training.
