Libya’s Dbeibah, UAE’s Mohamed bin Zayed discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation
Both leaders discuss joint cooperation, exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual concern

TRIPOLI, Libya /ISTANBUL (AA) - Libya’s Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Dbeibah met on Thursday UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation across various sectors, particularly economy, energy, and investment.
“Dbeibah met with bin Zayed in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, in response to an official invitation,” according to a statement from the Libyan government.
The meeting included discussions on "aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries, especially in the fields of economy, energy, and investment, in addition to an exchange of views on several regional and international issues of mutual concern," the statement said.
Both sides also emphasized "the importance of strengthening bilateral relations, in a way that supports stability and development in Libya and the region, while also serving the interests of both nations and their peoples."
