Mexico's economy expands 0.2% in 1st qtr.

ISTANBUL (AA) - Mexico's economy expanded 0.2% in the first quarter, compared to the previous quarter, according to the country's statistics agency, INEGI, on Tuesday.

The North American country's economy grew 0.1% in the fourth.

Mexico’s economy expanded 1.6% in the January-March period, from the same period last year.

Annually, tertiary activities increased 2.5%, while secondary and primary activities expanded 1.5% and 1.3%, respectively.
