Mexico's industrial output rises 0.6% in June
Annually, industrial activity expands 3.6%

ISTANBUL (AA) - Mexico's industrial output rose by 0.6% in June in seasonally adjusted terms, compared to the previous month, the country's statistical authority announced Friday.
The market estimate for the figure was to show an increase of 0.1% on a monthly basis.
Industrial production in May was revised down to a gain of 0.9% in May, from an increase of 1%.
In June, construction grew 2.2%, but mining remained unchanged, INEGI said in a statement.
On an annual basis, industrial activity was up 3.6% in June, compared to the same month of last year.
That figure came in much higher than the market expectation of a 2.8% gain.
Annual industrial production for May was revised up to a gain of 3.9% from a 2.8% increase.
Construction jumped 11.9%, while mining increased 2.6% year-on-year.
