North Korea fires ballistic missile toward its eastern waters: South Korean military
Japan also reports missile launch

ISTANABUL (AA) - North Korea fired a ballistic missile toward the sea off its east coast Friday, according to South Korea's military.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff did not provide further details about the launch other than reporting its detection, Yonhap News Agency reported.
Japan also detected a launch, according to the Yomiuri newspaper.
