OECD area annual inflation stable at 1.3% in September
Annual inflation excluding food, energy rises slightly to 1.7% in September, says OECD

ANKARA (AA) – Consumer prices in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) area remained stable at 1.3% in September, the organization said on Wednesday.
Energy prices continued to fall in the month by 6.5%, but at a slower pace than August (7%), while food price inflation slowed to 3.6% from 3.8% in August.
OECD annual inflation, excluding food and energy, picked up slightly to 1.7% in September, compared to 1.6% in August.
By contrast, Euro area inflation fell marginally to 0.3% in September from 0.2% in August.
Excluding food and energy, annual inflation also decreased to 0.2%, the lowest rate since 1997.
