Over 63,000 firms launches in H1 in Türkiye

ISTANBUL (AA) – During the first half of this year, Türkiye saw 63,675 new company launches, down by 3.6% on a yearly basis, official figures revealed on Friday.

During the same period, 9,492 companies were liquidated, decreasing by 4.7%, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye stated.

In the January-June period, 6,673 companies were established with foreign partners, with a foreign capital ratio of 82.5%.

In June alone, 9,429 companies were launched, while 1,867 firms went out of business.
