Pakistan Embassy in Turkey holds mango festival

ANKARA (AA) - The Pakistani Embassy in Ankara held the eighth edition of its annual mango festival here in the Turkish capital on Friday.

Press attache in the Pakistani mission Abdul Akbar served several mango varieties at his residence that were flown in from Pakistan for the event.

The event was closed to the public and was attended by embassy members and the media due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The most popular kinds of mango and several mango-based foods were served to guests, as well as desserts and traditional dishes such as Biryani and Basmati rice.

Guests were also given mangoes at the conclusion of the event.
