Palestinian minor killed by Israeli forces in West Bank

Fatality brings number of Palestinians killed in West Bank to 303 since Oct. 7, Health Ministry says

BETHLEHEM, Palestine (AA) – A Palestinian minor was killed by Israeli army fire in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, the Health Ministry said.

A ministry statement identified the victim as Mahmoud Muhammad Zaaoul, 16, in the town of Husan west of Bethlehem.

His death brought the tally of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank to 303 since Oct. 7.

According to witnesses, Israeli army forces raided the town of Husan and searched several houses there amid clashes with local residents.

Tensions have been running high across the West Bank amid an Israeli military offensive on the Gaza Strip following a cross-border attack by Hamas on Oct. 7.
