Palestinian succumbs to wounds suffered from Israeli fire in southern West Bank
Israeli army raided refugee camp last July, during which Mahmoud al-Anati was shot in his abdomen

RAMALLAH, Palestine (AA) - A Palestinian died Friday from wounds he sustained from Israeli fire in July in the southern West Bank.
The official Palestinian news agency, WAFA, cited a medical source that said Mahmoud Nassim al-Anati, 26, was in critical condition when he was shot by the Israeli army in the al-Fawwar refugee camp in southern Hebron.
The army raided the refugee camp on July 17 during which al-Anati was shot in his abdomen.
Tensions have been high across the West Bank since fighting broke out in Gaza on Oct. 7 between Palestinian groups and Israel.
According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, more than 430 Palestinians have since been killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank, with over 4,500 others injured.
