TULKARM, Palestine (AA) - A Palestinian teenager succumbed to his wounds early Wednesday after being shot last week by Israeli troops east of Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank.
Palestine’s official news agency WAFA said the 19-year-old was wounded in the town of Anabta during clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinians.
He was subsequently transferred to a hospital in the city of Nablus, where he later died.
According to WAFA, the Palestinian death toll in the occupied West Bank has risen to 96 since Oct. 7, when the Palestinian group Hamas launched a cross-border attack into Israeli border towns in retaliation for the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and growing violence by Israeli settlers against Palestinians.
