Portfolio of potential US-Russia projects worth over $14T: Russian special envoy

ISTANBUL (AA) - The portfolio of potential projects between the US and Russia is worth more than $14 trillion, Russia's Special Presidential Envoy for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries said Wednesday.

"The US will eventually lift sanctions because sanctions on Russia cost US businesses $300+ billion," Kirill Dmitriev wrote on the US social media company X’s platform, denying reports that Russia had offered the US a $12 trillion deal if sanctions were lifted

He emphasized that lifting sanctions on Russia is in the US's interest.

While negotiations between the US and Russia on the Ukraine issue have been ongoing for some time, Dmitriyev is also holding various talks with the US side in the economic field.
