Reserves at Turkish Central Bank hit historic new high
Bank's official reserve assets last week hit $141.4B, new all-time high

The Turkish Central Bank's official reserve assets hit a new record high as of Dec. 8, according to weekly figures released on Thursday.
Gross reserves totaled $141.4 billion last Friday, rising from the previous week's all-time high of $140.2 billion, the bank’s international reserves and foreign currency liquidity report showed.
Foreign currency reserves – in convertible foreign currencies – totaled 94.5$ billion as of the end of last week, up from $93.2 billion in the prior week.
The bank's gold reserves – including gold deposits and, if appropriate, gold-swapped – on Dec. 8 were broadly unchanged at $46.9 billion.
