Roadside bomb kills 2 in Somali capital
Attack targets aid workers in capital, leaving 6 casualties in total, including 1 Turkish citizen

MOGADISHU, Somalia (AA) - A roadside bomb exploded in the Somali capital Mogadishu on Thursday as a vehicle carrying humanitarian aid workers was passing by, killing two people, including a Turkish national.
"We were conducting aid work in the refugee camp and the explosion took place when our other vehicle was arriving,' Ridvan Yilmaz, a representative of the Safa Foundation, told Anadolu.
The blast also caused four injuries.
The Turkish citizen killed in the attack was identified as Abdurrahim Yoruk, the representative of the Verenel Aid and Solidarity Association in Somalia.
While investigations continue, the Al-Shabaab terrorist organization was suspected to be behind the attack.
