Rockstar Games announces new GTA edition

ANKARA (AA) - Rockstar Games announced Friday that a new edition of its popular Grand Theft Auto video series is in production.

"We're pleased to confirm that active development for the next entry in the series is underway," it said on Twitter.

The American video game publisher said it will continue to move forward with every new project.

Rockstar Games also thanked everyone for supporting the series.

The Grand Theft Auto series dates to 1997.
