Forces hit Ukranian military infrastructure with 'high precision,' says ministry

ISTANBUL (AA) - Russia carried out 14 strikes targeting Ukrainian military infrastructure and depots from June 15 to 21, the Defense Ministry said Friday.

Russian forces hit military equipment depots, airfield infrastructure, electrical substations and unmanned ground vehicle training centers with "high precision," the ministry said in its weekly update on the Russian-Ukrainian War.

The statement noted that several Russian forces engaged with Ukrainian army forces, repelling their attacks and destroying their troops, equipment.

Noting that a total of 37 Ukrainian servicemen surrendered last week, it said Russia's Black Sea Fleet destroyed six Ukrainian surface vehicles near Crimea.

The ministry noted that 613 planes and 276 helicopters, 26,188 unmanned aerial vehicles, 531 air defense missile systems, 16,397 tanks and other armored combat vehicles have been destroyed since the operation began in 2022.
