Process is still going on to create response to West's imposition of oil price cap, but it is near to end, says spokesman

ISTANBUL (AA) – Moscow is considering additional proposals on how to respond to the West's price cap on Russian oil, the Kremlin said on Monday.
"There are some developments that are put on paper. But there are also additional proposals that are now being considered and discussed," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said during a press briefing in Moscow.
The process, he said, is ongoing to develop a response to the oil price cap, but it is near to end.
Peskov earlier this month said Russia is preparing a response to the price cap on its oil by the EU and Group of Seven, which was implemented as an embargo on imports for Russian seaborne oil came into effect in the EU.
- 'Unfounded fabrications'
The Kremlin spokesman denied claims that Russian President Vladimir Putin will decide on the participation of Belarus in the "special military operation" in Ukraine.
"Treat this as absolutely stupid, unfounded fabrications," Peskov told reporters.
He added that Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko will discuss new goals and objectives of the two countries.
"The commanders-in-chief and the army leadership are working out these goals in an operational manner," Peskov said, answering a question whether the presidents would decide anything on the goals and objectives of Russia and Belarus in the upcoming negotiations.
Putin will hold talks with Lukashenko during a one-day working visit to Minsk later on Monday.
