Russia reports multiple Ukraine drone attacks

MOSCOW (AA) - An emergency was announced in Russia's city of Rostov-on-Don on Thursday following an alleged attack by Ukrainian drones.

Rostov Governor Vasily Golubev said on Telegram two Ukrainian drones crashed causing one casualty and cutting electric supply of 20 residential buildings.

Separately, Bryansk Governor Aleksandr Bogomaz said three drones were shot down in his region, one of them -- while approaching the region's administrative center.

The incident did not cause casualties, however, a building of the railway station Bryans-1, station square and several cars were damaged.

Both Rostov and Bryansk regions border Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin also reported a drone attack in the Moscow region. According to him, the air defense systems intercepted a drone last night.

No immediate statement was available from the Ukrainian side.
